Yanmar Manuals

Post by Eddy G »

Any of you Yanmar owners that haven't invested in shop manuals can down load them for free at www.cascadeengine.com. Click on manuals and pick the engine model you have.

I looked at the new BY manual to see how they are put together. Chain driven double overhead cam and dry turbo. I remember Bruce commenting on that. About the only thing I like better about the BY over my LH's is the oil filter set up. It's the same as my girlfriends BMW on top of the engine with a screw off cap and replacement element. No mess.

Happy New Year guys,

Since BMW is the builder of the engine, I'm sure that feature carried over.
