Looks like a '64, does it have the tanks on either side of the motor? I've got a '65 with saddle tanks.

I like the seating arrangements and the teak decking.

I bet with the 383 she's a real rocket (I didn't see any safety harnesses ;), what kind of performance do you get?

Also, the Bertram gages are a nice touch, would you have a source for them?

Wow, what an incredible restoration. Did Cabrerra's help with this one too? The attention to detail is incredible - I love the cleanliness and organization in the bilge. Did the Bertram bow chock come with the boat or did you get it from a 25 or 31? I've got one that I haven't installed on the Baron yet and there is a little debate about it. I think it looks great on the moppie.

Every time I look at the pictures of the boat I get lost staring into the screen.

It is interesting regarding the top end with the 383. I know of many that hit 51 with the V6. I guess you could still hit that fully loaded down and towing a skier!

the 383mpi is the abosolute best of the small block configuration and not due to the 33cubic inches it is all about the 6" rod in combination with 1/4" stroke.the piston stays at t.d.c. just a fraction longer producing enormous amount of torque.when proped correctly and you have many options with a bravo 3 and adding weight to the boat will have no effect.
i am sure alot of through went into choosing a powerplant,this is the ultimate.will make 400hp every day of the week with a little tweaking.beautiful color combination,great job and best of luck.-------bob

Charlie, no, I sent her to a better place a few years ago...she now lives in Key Largo with one of the Faithful who fixed her up real nice. She is now probably the finest B20 Bahia Mar on the face of the planet.

Thank Guys !! Happy to share it with you all. The original intention was to do a quick fix with the B20 so I could enjoy boating while the B31 was done. But things don't always go as plan. The quik fix translated in to a mayor restoration and now is getting realy hard trying to get rid of it.

BTW, Paola is my daughter's name.

A guy on Fish River in Baldwin County has a 20 painted the same blue as Paola.

I have a friend that had a 20 probably 18 years ago........he took the I/O out, pluged the transom hole and installed an OMC Sea Drive when they first came out.

The next time I see the one on Fish river I will photograph it and post the pic.

Paola is a great looking boat........I know you must be proud

Resurrecting an old thread of a very nice B20 restoration to ask a question. Does anyone know what blue was used on this boat? I looked at the Awlgrip color chart and tried to compare some colors, and depending on the light, it's hard to tell. The stripe looks like international orange, but the blue could be Aristo, or even Majestic depending on which picture you compare.
