Spend $500 or so and get a good local mechanic to go check them out...you might have a deal on your hands or a dog.....

Are you talking re-mans from Cummins dealer? the 210Cummins re-mans are 12600.ea with 2yr warranty. I bought them in Biloxi Miss from Johnsons diesel. i believe the 250hp model was 15000.ea Very satisfied with Johnsons diesel. he beat all others in price

Try moving up to the 270 remans. The complete engine with Transmissions shoudl be between 18 to 20 a piece. Two year warranty and I am told there will be a price increase in January. The 250 is actually not around anymore in a reman so I am told. The 250 and 270 are the same block but the 270 gives you a couple of more knots. Tony Meola

This is not a Cummins program, it is a Miami rebuilder of all types of marine engines.
Heed Vics advice and find a local Cummins tech to look at and go over exactly what was done to them.

Tony you are correct in that the price will probably go up in Jan. I procrastenated last year in December and the price was 2000. more. There is a fairly good demand for these re-mans and i suggest buying a pair before they eventually quit selling them.

I am ordering mine next week. The Cummins dealer I am using gave me the heads up on the price increase. Tony Meola
