Winter window project

Lining up my winter B31 project...its windows. Went out today, and can get the curved plexi windows made locally. Tint on the plexi sample I was given is dark, like Greylite 14. Number on the plex is "2074." The 2074 plexi almost, but not quite, matches the greylite 14 glass I saw at the glass shop. Is there an exact match between plexi and greylite 14? Thanks.

I was, but to keep her I've got to use her more. If I keep the front windows, I figure I can get a remote autopilot, and troll her myself from the cockpit. What kind of glass did you use for your side windows?

John did I read that right?
but to keep her I've got to use her more
That's not true. Be careful your trying to rationalize. It's like pricing deer meat by the pound....don't go there, or at least don't let the wife go there. Before you know it you will be re-doing the house (my current punishment)
Is it posible to block HGTV from the cable package?

Scott-
Yeah, been thinking about selling her. I got her to go offshore, but have a few friends doing that with real nice rides, so she hasn't been out of the Bay. Plus, the motors are old, and she'd be great for a diesel repower, but that'd just be a waste for me. I mainly light tackle here, and a smaller, more fuel efficient center console (23 Regulator?) would seem to fit better. Plus, we trailer to the Delaware rips and the Ches. Bay Bridge Tunnel (fishing nirvana) a few times a year, and we could use a nicer boat than what we've been bringing. I just haven't been able to bring myself to sell her....Lots of reasons to sell her, but haven't been able to do it yet. That, and the market is just awful. Not complaining though, really a pretty good position to be in........

Do you mean get clear glass and then have it tinted?

We used dot glass, with a tint to it, cause thats all I had in the shop, other than clear. then Dug had them tinted. You sould get a normal smoke, or bronze or clear, whatever your guy will do the cheepest, then tint it. At some point you'll have to retint, but a butt load cheeper than greylite 14.
Also make sure your guy patterns both sides, dougs were different.
