Invalid Session

Am I the only one or is it my ISP? Most of the time when I try to post a message, I get a response that says,...."Invalid Session. Please resubmit the form." I usually have to hit the submit button 3 or 4 times before I finally get my message to post.

I do too, Harv.
But in the scheme of things, that's not much of a problem.

Yup, I have had many an Invalid Session myself. Thought maybe I didn't enter or tab before clicking submit.

Then again I usually talk to myself anyway...so why not write to myself. Whats that...oh yeah thanks I almost forgot...many times I read the message again and decide it wasn't really an approprate response anyway and delete. Usually an off the cuff gibe that may be taken the wrong way. Thanks for reminding me....No problem anytime fren!

Just happened again....

Give it a re-read...type a tad bit more and lets see what happens now. Cross my fingers (kant typ 2 good tis way}

Nope Invalid

Are you guys accessing through AOL by any chance?

Good guess Mike...

You, Andre, Harv, & Drifter all show AOHell email accounts, so the AOL frequent changing of I.P. addresses could be an issue. If AOL switches your I.P. address between the time that you hit the "Reply" button & when you hit the "Post" button, the security portion of the script could be blocking the post.

Another possible culprit is Google Web Accelerator. If you are using the GWA and having the "Invalid Session" error problem, try turning off the accelerator and see if the problem still exists...

Guilty as charged. Will try other browser next time I log onto the site.
I had a feeling that AOL was probably the culprit.

Thanks

Harv,

Using a different browser, (IE, FoxFire, Opra, etc), might not make much of a difference, since your IP address is whatever AOL assigns & re-assigns. A different browser may, however, save your cookies in a different way from the AOHell browser.
