Chrome Plating

A while back someone was talking about a chrome plater on long island that did a good job and was affordable and I'm tring to get in touch with them. I did a search but came up blank, any help would be great. The EPA clamped down on platers in Florida and the prices are through the roof.

Thanks,
RussP

Dick Dean had his rodholders done by them and reffered them to me afterwards. When you call, tell them I sent you. If they need a reminder tell them they did some side vents, chocks, haws pipes, bow cleat, and my "hockey sticks" as they call them...( the footrest legs from my fighting chair). Also mention you are one of the Bertram 31 faithful. They do real nice work, quick turnaround and decent pricing.

So I go in there. Nassau Plating. I have the Murray fightin' chair pedestal in hand ( maybe in my arms).

" Can you do it", I said.
"Hold on, just a minute"
He bring out the same piece. And it looked great.
"You got the job but I don't pay sales tax".

Then the fun began ...

I also recommend American Electroplating in NJ. 973-427-2300. Ask for Dave Mitchell. Great guy.
