Texas just put down its 398th "product of a broken home" since 82's resuming the death penalty.

In August they have 5 more scheduled.

Here's to a state that has a set of brass ones!

As the great American and comedian Ron White said,

"Other states are getting rid of the death penalty, Texas is putting in an express lane!"

He also said: "If you come to Texas and kill someone, we kill you back! That's our policy!"

Sadly, they get to be fed by the state on death row a lo-o-o-o-ng time before their moment of truth ever arrives, and there are a whole bunch of them waiting in line, exhausting appeals.

Like the joke about one dead lawyer on the bottom of the ocean, though, it's a good start.

Only as it should be...

A guy that grew up here in Fairhope Al took a drive thru Texas about 30 years ago, got pulled over for speeding then shot and killed the State Trooper that stopped him that day.

I think that he was on death row there for over 20 years.............way to long
