started getting the boat ready for painting and new rub rail, the rail came off easyer the the stainless cap, had to grind every screw once that was off it was just a matter of finding were the rail was thru bolted, every side of the seams cut them out with the saws all and just pulled it off.i was amazed at the quality and thickness of that rail, 37 years on the boat and it was still solid. have another day of work on her the i can turn it over to the yard to glass in the thru hulls that are not being used and to give her a new coat of fighting yellow lady, hope to be back in the water in 3 weeks

Back surgery went great! Just a little numbness in my foot and that is about it.

So, Charlie, it looks like you will just miss Montauk. And another 31 gets the beauty treatment.
The boats at AC last week were obsolutly out standing. Some were in the big money range.
Two 25's were out of site. "My Shadow" and "BackLash" had to take first honors if there was a prize to be given.
And dockside, Doc comes strolling by my boat and says, " Dick, your boat, your boat looks like you use it a lot".
It's good to have thick skin.
