Gas or diesel?

You are in a tuff part of the world to talk to find a good wheel shop....but your fuel is almost free. What's fuel selling it for now, 12 cents a gallon?

Try this site: http://www.boatdiesel.com
use the "Prop Calculator" function....it will get you close.

I don't know if you have to buy the $25 membership to use that function...but it's worth it if you do.

Good Luck,

Carlos- I don't know if this helps but I have an older Sportsfisherman with a heavy teak deck, gin pole, Radar arch, full encloaure and big chair. I'm powered with twin 210 hp Cummins 6bt's and twin discs with 1:50 transmissions. My props are 20' x 20" cupped 3 bladed Nibrals and I cruise at 21-22 kts. Cruise on Cummins 6bt's is 2400 rpm. WOT is 2650. I'm sure the other faithful will chime in with good advice. Walter

.07 a gallon, that would be $15.4 to fill the tank. I burn $15.4 worth of fuel just getting out of the harbor. Hell the sales tax on fuel is more then $.07.
