Will an older airmar transducer work with the new Garmin digital sounders? Or do I have to replace the transducer with the unit?

I doubt it will. Check with Garmin first . I would put a new transducer in as they really don't last forever. Dave K

Might need an adapter on the transducer plug-in to the unit. Walter
