Battery question fr 6bt

First things first.....This site is great and the info gained is a must for all boaters. Now i know i dont have a Bertram anymore but hopefully most of you guys can forgive that!!!Since i will be asking more questions of this forum let me introduce myself. Troy Danos from Lafitte La. My latest project is a 31Tiara express 1986 model. Question....with 210hp6bt what battery should i go with? 8D is so big. But i dont want to skimp either. I am building battery box and need opinions. How about it Walter? Thanks Troy

I have 6bta's and I replaced my 8D's with Odyssey 2150's.

2-4D's they fit outside the engines just fine. Lots of power for starting and house/electronics power.

dITTO, I'm with Jp on that one. I have one outboard starboard on the shelf with one between the engines in the bilge with a Group 24 in front of the Genset outboard Port shelf.

I have the 210's with 4D's on the outside of each. I've been very pleased with them. Walter
