For all the friends that they are interesting for a new rub rail , from white UPVC, similar design of the old aluminum one, then try to @bertram31europe where you can find photos of the rub rail that we recently produce in Europe (Athens, Greece)
I involve with a company that is working with thermoplastics, thermosettings and glass materials so we build a mould for this rub rail and we extrude it from White UPVC in lengths of 3,7m( other lengths are possible also). For the bow section we can deliver it already thermoformed if you want.
As a B31 lover, I started to produce items that it was difficult to find in Europe so I have moulds for the Acrylic corner windows and flybridge windshield, new UPVC rub rail, new bigger water tank etc etc😊

Stav,

Your rubrail looks like the profile offered by Capt. Whitaker on his website (http://www.31bertram.com)
I bought the last set from him 6 months ago and he told me that in order to have it again he should have ordering some 2,000 feet of PVC extrusion :o

I would have saved the insane and huge effort I beared to have my rubrail shipped by sea from California to Italy, if you were ready with yours! :P

Never mind ! For your next 31 project you know where to find me :-D
Even though I design it like the original aluminum, I think that it is propably similar with capt Patrick s( I have seen it only from photos)
It has the same height and width with the original aluminum and it can have on the top rounded stainless steel trim from 19 to 25mm width
The material is hard UPC with UV inhibitors in white color.
In the following days I shall post also photos from the installation process on my 31 sportfish that I am in full restoration process.
