Surviving this MF! My boat is on the hard but still, 80 to 100 mph gusts! Hope she is still standing.

Stay safe.
Was wondering how you guys were doing down there, when I heard the power was out. Hopefully it will not be as bad as the last time.

Tony:
Full outage. Only power source is through private generators. Raining non-stop. To see what’s happening go to Facebook and search for Ada Monzon and Deborah Martorell. Local Weather journalists.

Saw a VICE report not long ago on the corruption of leadership and the power company on PR.
Not sure how the people there put up with it without a total revolt.
Good Luck.

Five years after the 1-2 combination of Irma and Maria. They didn't fix anything?
Two million migrants can bury a lot of electric cable in a hurry........

Hueso,
Our thoughts are with you, Mickey and our PR brethren. As any of us who have been through it can attest. It sucks at best. I can’t imagine on an island with the infrastructure issues you have to deal with.
Best of luck sir.

People continue to vote for the same morons every 4 years! We manage to take down/throw out a Governor before the term was over but it wasn't enough.

LOL maybe that's what we need. They put a band-aid on the Power Grid.

Voting for the same jerks is a habit even we here in the Main land have.
Glad all is well. No water can make things iffy if they don't get it to you soon.
Have you heard from Mickey?

Micky and his family are alive and kicking! His "wanna be boat" still floating waiting on the arrival of the new engines hopefully next week. We are all rooting for him to finish the damn boat! WATER IS BACK!

Hueso-
Great to hear Micky, family n boat are ok.
Water back is excellent news!
Now let’s talk about getting reliable power and water. Politicians are corrupt n steal…but get the basic needs met then skim….just my thought.

You definitly live in NY. Fix things, but make sure there is money left over for us. LOL Sounds like the Old Mob.

The mob, politicians...is there a difference, a subtle one at best with some.
Befriending and/or living next to either can have its benefits.

Rawleigh,
This is the one I use too.
I find it sometimes overestimates the wind, by a little.

I'm still here, haven't been able to use a computer as I'm in charge of one of the biggest living complex here in PR and we've been fueling and dealing with generators every day since last sunday.
