Hey All
Has anyone removed the cockpit rail on the B 28 the ones that run from side of the boat and wrap around to the engine box. If so likes, dislikes. Any pictures would be great.

Peter,

After I removed the rails, I made a day bed on the stbd motor. Great for cruising and at port.
Then, after I altered the ladder, I can store my un-inflated dinghy under it, and by just flipping it upwards I can have access to the port engine.
Anyway it was a good decision to get rid of the rails, I hesitated in the beginning, but once done it's much more practical

First 6 pics below:

(PS: Can't seem to be able to make it just display the pics on the topic, instead it shows all pics I ever uploaded....)

Yannis,

Try putting the pictures an album and post a link to the album.
