Fiberglass shaft logs?

I'm still in the demo mode on my boat but already thinking about the build back. I need some Fiberglass Shaft logs. What are the best ones and where to buy them. I saw the "DIY method" on this forum and the installation thread.

Also while we are discussing them, I noticed in a couple of forums online there was some discussion about increasing hull efficiency by having full length shaft logs. Any thoughts along this line?

I got mine from https://www.fisheriessupply.com/centek- ... st-housing
I did not run them full length but I didn’t cut them flush with the hull. I think I posted some pictures some where.

You did post some pics. I have them. Which is what prompted me to ask the question. Thanks!

Bob Lilco has his extended.

Maybe half way down the shaft. If you can find them he has pictures posted.

I'd be interested in seeing those pics. I'll hunt around or may pm Bob.
