Ok, your Whereabouts from the two pictures, lt me see, from my experience with the Greek waterways I’d say your out in the water somewhere.

I do like that wake and the color of your water is awesome…so inviting. I too would be stopping and just floating around. I have been known to do that here…been some sweltering days when I’ve been out fishing or cruising. Stop and jump in…
My dad says that’s crazy, especially offshore. But unless I’m chumming I have no problem going in. I used to ask him where do you think the dive boats used to take me. Same wrecks and structure we is. It’s not like the sharks know beach’s are supposed to be off limits and it’s ok to munch ya out on a wreck. Oops, I’m off topic again…how like me.

Great looking wake…funny how we like those wake pictures. Reminds me off dads Slide Projector pictures of his tuna trips when he fished for tuna over the summer. Whole trays of, this is us running out of Glouster or whatever port they were fishing at the time. Then pics of them running back with a giant on deck, then back out. Never good land shots as they were prepping, hardly ever fishing shots as they were fishing. Coming back was cleaning and prepping…so many many slides of wakes with lots of descriptions running at XY rpm, that back there is Johns boat, he was hooked up. We could almost make out the boat…never mind see he was hooked up.

All good, thanks for the memories… I forgot about those Picture nights of boat wakes.

Looks like a great trip so far.

Thanks guys.

Carl,

I took these pics, this is my Greek American cousin from Tucson. We went to Kythnos, the island nearby, for a swim and a lunch at a taverna in a bay there. Was the calmest day Ive ever seen in the area...today it is back to 7 beauforts again.

Yes there is always something with your own wake that you admire!
You can clearly see each prop fin’s bite in the water...someone who knows might tell me if that is naturally occurring or if I need to do something with the props...anyway as there is nothing written on them I have no idea if I have the right ones or if the cup is ok...I cruise at 24-25 knots for 2.6 liters per nm.

I’ll put all the pics up after the summer, in October sometime.

We're you using him as Shark bait?

No, he voluntarily jumped in.
We don't have sharks in Greece.

Really, no sharks. I am kind of surprised.

Yannis,

Been a bit of an odd year for the meltemi from what I've heard - i.e. much less than normal?

Haha, who says?

I’d say we are having normal stuff, however, we also have those annoying south winds, that is the abnormal part.

Where are you? Did you do the Dodecanese or went to Italy?

We did nothing in the end, nothing. At all.

Which was good as it meant more time on the B25 but not so good as it is tough to motivate 5 crew when there is not much going on...

I hear you, on the other hand you didn't exhaust yourself...
But 5 crew where do you fit them in a Pershing?
Must be a monster Pershing!
