what do you think would happen if your engines were slightly toed inwards instead of firing straight back. I know on outboards they toe them inwards to concentrate thrust. Thoughts?

Almost all the 31's I've seen original to the factory from the rear looked like Jack Elams eyes in Cannon Ball run with shafts.
What are you talking about in degrees? Toe in at front of engines or rear?

LOL the Dr with the enormous middle finger? lol

So the front of my engines ie... alternator side are toe'd in so the props are slightly angled outwards. I'm going to put the props on and then clamp a straight edge to the rudders to see what im looking at.

so i put the props on and its kind of hard to get a perfect measurement but it appears they are pointed slightly outwards about a half an inch or so. So the inside edge of the prop is about a 1/2 inch closer to the rudder than the outer edge
