straight inboard bertram 25

Post by trace elements »

Has anybody seen this boat before or does anybody know any details? I have been looking for a 25 inboard SF for a while and stumbled upon this today on Instagram. I have even considered converting a boat to twin straight shaft inboard with the engines spaced like a 31 to free up room in the cockpit.

That’s a very cool and interesting boat. I think if I had to put that much effort in I’d rather have a 31.

Would love to see more pics---looks like first class work.

I have posted before---the first year of the 25 was offered with twin straight inboards like the 31----I have seen in ads and did see one example many many years ago.

How do you know they were hidden and not just put in a spot not easily seen by you.

Hiding? Do you have to pay extra for that?
Is always seems that entropy finds them no matter where I hide mine...

That 25 looks great and someone worked very hard on it. It also looks like there are some interesting details at the waterline on the stern.
I remember being told about prototypes that Bertram and other designers built trying to sort out the handling issues with single inboards and the deep-V hull designs.

Thanks for sharing that - wish I could answer your question.

why not get an inboard B26 moppie and put a tower on it. The motors are spaced like the 31

The inboard Moppie 26 is definitely an option. I much prefer the looks of the 25 flybridge though. Both boats are hard to come by in inboard configuration. The search continues.
