Big Rock Blue marlin Tournament

The Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament continues today and tomorrow in the Morehead City/Beaufort/Atlantic Beach, NC, area. The video link below shows what happens when a 60' sportfisherman stuffs the bow returning through Beaufort Inlet during heavy seas. The 2nd boat in the video is "Floridian" and I'm told it is a 60' Sportsman.

Notice the downward angle of the crushed bow pulpit. It appears that the bow was stuffed deep into the trough, and when the bow pitched upward the weight of the water on top of the bow flare cantilevered the pulpit downward and snapped the aft structural support. I will post a picture of the boat in the Jarrett Bay travel lift.
