Bahia Mar Question

Post by buzzk »

I'm looking for a original 31 Sportfish. Having fished on the SF and FBC for years, I'm really familiar with them. But I've fished on a Bahia Mar a few times but I can't remember the visibility from the helm seat. How good is it. The one thing that is really nice about the Bahia Mar is the access to work on the engines. Thanks Buzz

Doesn't anybody know the visibility from a Bahia Mar?

I have experience on 2 different bahia mar 31s and would say the visibility on both was excellent. I have also fished on several other Express style boats Albemarle, Topaz, and Henriques and think the bertram is superior. I hope this helps. I will try and post a picture later this week.

I have a 1970 Bahia Mar and the visibility is great for me. From the helm I can see 360 degrees with no issues. I stand an even 6’ if that helps your question. Good luck with the boat.
