What type of tools are you looking for. For keeping on the boat to work on something offshore in a pinch, I tend to keep cheaper wrench's and sockets on the boat. In the garage, I will keep the better tools. You can get by just fine with Home Depot and Lowes wrenches in fact, for leaving on the boat Harbor Freight is not all that bad. Sometimes I think the tools sold by Home Depot, lowes and Harbor Freight come from the same factory in China.

Look up threads under Bob Lilco for seating options. There have been several from him and others.

Ricky, don’t overlook Phillips Plating in Bridgetown, NC, just north of New Bern on 117. Assuming they are still in business, they’ve done great work for me.

Ricky, the business is run by the three Phillips brothers and they've done fabulous work for me. I just called and spoke to one of the brothers (Mark, Jerry and one other), and he said their turn-around time should be less than 30 days. I found their work to be high quality and their prices to be reasonable. I don't think they have a website and I don't think they do any advertising; just good old word-of-mouth referrals.
