Headliner Teak Trim

Post by Captain Decent »

I have a couple of broken teak trim pieces that hold up the head liner. Of course they’re all the ones on the radiused corners.

Is there any place to purchase replacements or what is the best way to replace them. I’m handy but I’m not seeing a good method for this. Any ideas?

if you have all the pieces try to carefully glue them together. It worked for me. I was careful not to stress them when re-installing them.

I had the same problem with those corner pieces.
I stitched them back together as Amberjack described and then laminated some light fiberglass cloth on the back side.
Cutting and finishing some new corner pieces is on the list...
Happy Thanksgiving.
