I looked to see if there are any posts, any good reason not to use Mobil 1?, not NMMA approved?.

On gas enginesyou should be ok. But you really don't need to go that expensive.

How many hours on them?
Have they been run with full synthetic before?

Yes been using synthetic oil that is NMMA approved looking to switch to Mobil 1 for a heavier weight.
