Thanks Yannis

That feeling of relaxation conveyed in your photo's is what boating is all about.

That and fishing...
and diving.

Thanks for taking to share these photos with us. You live in a beautiful part of the world that most of us never get a chance to experience.
No better way to enjoy it than in a Bertram. Have a wonderful summer and hope you will share additional photos if you have time.

Great shots. I can see why you enjoy the boat so much.

Do you run all the diesel out of the tanks for winter storage?

Carl, Sato, thanks.

Tony, no, I leave it as is. Normally there are some 100-150 liters left. This time though, my calculations were a bit off and by the time I arrived in my slot at the marina where I spend a few days to prepare, just before departure, I found out I had less than 50 liters in the tank...almost run dry! I use Grotamar as an additive, which is a super fungus killer, so I’m not worried too much for bacterial growth. It has been recommended to me by a mechanic in the merchant marine, they use it for their generators in the ships.
I also fear that adding half a ton of diesel while on the dry on the barrels, might contribute to further twisting of the hull, so I avoid it. So far so good.
