Hello All
I have a B28 that had a toilet in the V berth it was removed before I got the boat. In all the searching I have done you don't see many with the toilet there.
I replaced with a porta potty .

Open lid

Do that which must be done

Flush

Close lid

Ideally done when cabin is not occupied.
Years ago that was a feature of comfort on a smaller boat.

I assume it is the old Groco if it is original. Probably not electric. If it is not electric, you will see a spot on the right lower side that looks like a spot for the handle on a hydraulic jack. Somewhere on the boat there should have been a piece of metal tubing probably with a rubber handle similar to a handle on the handle bars on a bike. That would fit into that spot. Once you are done you pump out the waste manually using that pipe as the lever. Just make sure the thru hull to the toilet is open.
