I spent the last week working on a custom swim platform for the summer season. Image

It was more work than anticaped but worth the effort. now I need to fabricate the brackets and install.

Russ...

Great looking job!

I am thinking about building a similar looking swim platform for my B33.. any info you can post about the materials you used, the design, and how you plan on fastening it to the transom would really be appreciated.

Thanks... Frank

Thanks. The top is a 1/2" 4lb Divinycell, sides are 3/8 with 4 layers on the top and 6 on the bottem, I wanted to keep it light. I figure it weighs around 35lbs. I'm custom fabricating brackets out of 1/4" X 2" 304 SS flat stock and light weight stainless tubing to match the 15 degree transom
angle. I figure after all the materials I'm around $1200. ahead making it myself. I purchased a ladder from GG Shmitt to mount under the platform.

All the skills I learned from working with Capt. Patrick were used in the fabrication and I figure I would still be thinking about it if I didn't have them.

I plan on installing it this weekend. After I stand and jump around on it a few times and proove it I'll think about making a mold.
