B28 Transmission coupling Bolts

Good Morning gents,
Yes , this is my first post on the forum. I purchased an 86 B28 FB last year and took it in to the shop to have some work done including tranny seals replaced, When I got the boat back, the coupling bolts were not tightened down all the way which was likely overlooked during reinstall. The question is...are lock washer supposed to be used with with the 4 bolts in the coupling that attaches the shaft as mine does not. Also, is a torque spec on these bolts required or just wrench them down?

Oh, and for what its worth, I am in the New Port Richey, Florida area which is just north of Clearwater, FL.

Thank you

Yes lock washers.
Should be fine thread grade 8 bolts.
I am sure there is a spec to torque them to...but wrenching them down is the norm I am familiar with.

Fine thread bolts, lock washers at minimum, locking nuts or safety wire due to rotational force.
Use tef gel on threads for ease or removal in the future.
