Tommy,

I looked briefly into my pockets and only found $540,000.
Do you think that I could manage to ...steal her away with a bit of bargaining?

Tommy

I think this is the same boat that Dug posted pictures of last year.

Interesting post of a redone 31... We have seen better on our 31 Bertram.com site many times. Just not perfect enough to command that price. Nice try, but I'll stick w the crew and owners of 31's from Our site.

Happy New Year to All

Tommy,

I spent some time on her. It is Gif’s old boat that was damaged in shipping. They did a LOT of work to her, but I personally have my doubts as to whether they will get that kind of coin for her.

They keep trying though.

That is too much coin when a brand new 35 is only a $100,000 more. He is going to eat that boat.

Carl, yup.

And Tony, probably true.

On the other hand a completed 31 is a true classic and it's done, built and ready to go.

A hefty price tag for sure, but to me it makes more sence then some of the center consoles with a dozen outboards hanging off the back.

Personally I think it's a bargain - all B 31s are a bargain.
Please repeat after me...

In the v-berth, on the walls, what kind of wool is that and how is that installed ?
Looks nice and should hold up well.
Thanks

The saving grace is they blend in with the black windshield and sort of disappear.
But you sort of see them too and once you do I agree it ruins the appearance.

...and yes, that is why I am going to pass on this boat at this time.
