The mount for my transmission seems to be alittle bit odd. I was not sure if a standard mount would work. Ford 460 big block with velvet drives

454's right?

When we had the gassers the engines sat on an angle with the forward end higher than the stern end, in order to meet the shaft correctly. This was the time before down angle transmissions. Do your engines sit lever or at an angle. That mount looks like it was made to hold some weight as well as maybe raise the height of the back end to possibly level the engine off.

Hopefully Bruce may have seen something like this and will jump in.

They are ford 460s marinized by chrysler. Probably 88 models. They are angled down.
I googled the casting numbers and they come back to being a late 60s/70s mercuiser part. I had assumed the boat had chrysler 440s in it and it was repowered with new chyslers in the 80s. Guess it hard mercuisers from the factory in 69

If mounts are in good shape and fit I'd say your good to go.

Like Carl said, if they work and are in reasonable shape use them as is.
