Last year at about this time my wife persuaded me to buy the B31 which was parked at the Timber Point West gas dock with a for sale sign. I had owned a sail boat for forty years but had no experience with power boats or inboard motors. Thanks to all of you who have patiently answered my questions I have had a successful boating season, managing, on the way, to sort out the wiring problems on my flying bridge and an ignition problem with my starboard motor.

Special thanks to Tony for sending me his old shop manuals for my 454s.

Bruce,

I sent you a contribution for support of this site via Paypal.

Thanks again,

Peter

It is always a pleasure for everyone on this board to try and help out others. You would be surprised as to how members have helped each other over the years. It has gone beyond our little boats, and answering questions.

Hopefully we have encouraged you to continue pushing forward in enjoying the boat.

Peter,

Been here 8 years now, boat still has loads of projects and I have loads of questions. Dug and I were speaking at the rendezvous how we've made more friends and long term relationships through this board and at the rendezvous that outpace any enjoyment from the boat alone. Hope to meet up soon.....

Pete

Excellent. Glad to hear you are doing well with the power boat!
