Replacing hynautic steering with seastar
Would like to replace my hynautic steering to seastar steering on my 1971 31 Bertram that has twin model 350 engines. Having a hard time figuring which helm and ram I need to order.

This is the ram I have on my 31. Shop around I did much better than the West Marine price. Actually West Marine price matched the one I found. The price difference was almost $200.
Just as an fYI I also have the upgraded rudders and I am running 270 Cummins Diesels.

My hydraulic steering is non-functional and why keep dumping money into it when it's getting harder to get parts for them:-) thank you for the input I will check out the Seastar Ram. Thank you for the reminder that West Marine will match the price.
