Cabin A/C Size

Post by palomine »

Has anyone defined the correct size A/C unit for the typical 31'. I am "re-doing" a '66 Express and I calculate about 10K BTU's. BUT I have heard of anywhere from 5K to 12K being used.....any suggestions?

Pal,

Welcome aboard!

For the mid Atlantic area, a 10K would be the minimum, better at 12K. Down south & through out the Gulf, 12K is minimum, with 16K being preferred.

Best regards,
