I have had to remove the bathroom wall ( that the door attaches to) because of heavy rot near the bottom.
The Bertram design allows rainwater to overflow the main cabin sill when the drain becomes plugged with debris.
Finding the hidden screws was the biggest problem but once they were removed the wall slid right out.
The starboard side (that holds the three drawers)
is bad also.
Took both panels to General Woodcraft in New London to
Have new plywood cut and recovered with Formica.
It will be fun trying to match
Formica from 1986.
My boat is a 28 Bertram flybridge.

Why match it. You can go with an offsetting color, like you would do in the house.

I am not much of a designer.
Seems that it should match the rest of the Formica in the cabin.

Last time I looked at Wilsonart brand laminate colour chips there were a couple which were pretty much an exact match for Bertram's OEM 'dark' brown formica, assuming that is the colour you have and not the lighter ' light oak' looking formica!

Formica does the job, maybe not the wow factor is all!

White Oak

I am not an interior designer but I would think white or even a light brown formica would compliment it. Get some chip samples and match them up to see how they look.

I don't know your area, but if you went into one of those Kitchen Designer stores, the ones that you sit down and plan your kitchen with the store architect/designer, they carry all sorts of formica and non formica alternatives. One of them may be suitable to your needs.
