Rocket Ship "Fun Ticket"

I had the pleasure of joining Gail Culp last weekend for the 1st blue water fishing trip on "Fun Ticket". Many of you saw Gail's work in progress restoring a 1966 Bahia Mar at the 2005 UVI, but she is complete now and all I can say is WOW!! The boat is beautiful and a rocket ship with the 330 Cummins. Loaded to the hilt she cruises at 28-29 knots. Feels like I was riding in an outboard boat but in comfort. We had a nice day catching 3 wahoo and a couple of nice dolphin.

Wow, what a rocket ship!

And, Garry, I didn't realize you live in Slidell. My brother and dad live there too.

How'd you do with Katrina?

Gary, If you don't mind, I would also like the pictures of the Bahia Mar.
I'm pretty sure that I've lost my mind but, I just purchased a Bahia Mar project myself and am still knocking around ideas.

Thanks,

Andy

When I saw Gail's boat at the UVI5 I said to myself that I would never have picked that color in a million years....and it was spectacularly beautiful! That coming from a guy who made the best part of his career as an award winning art director says a lot! His little touches of the same color on his chair, tower platforms etc was like icing on the cake. Bravo Gail! Walter

Walter, I thought the same thing when Gale's Bahia came in the harbor at Port Eads last year, but that color scheme sorta grows on you. Good eye, my Fren'.......

Garry,

I am using John's log in; but this is Pam, his wife, who you met several months ago in Freeport. I am helping John gather pictures of Bahia Mar's - to get an idea on how to proceed with ours. If there is any way you can send additiional pictures which show the engine boxes/cabin/helm area to my email: pamc@fall-arrest.com it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Pam

p.s. If anyone else out there has pictures of Bahia Mar's - please forward
