Government surplus Diesels

Post by saburke17 »

Hey Guys, has anyone ever purchased a Diesel from a government surplus place? I was watching a pair of QSB 5.9 380's recently and they needed to be rebuilt for sure but the price seemed right, they both sold for under 4k ea. they also have a ton of refurb'd C12 sitting in crates coming up soon, for the right price are these C12 a good motor for this or should i try to grab a couple of QSB? there are few 6BTA floating around too. Thinking for the future refit. I know the "unknown" part is dicey but 4k seems like a deal

Try here: http://www.govliquidation.com

A search at the top of the page for "cummins 380" returns four engines.
