Hi everyone,

I am currently re-wiring my b31. The windlass has 2 wires, and connected to a relay where I can control up and down via a toggles switch. I guess the up and down reverses the current going to the motor. Do I need 2 circuit breakers? on both the positive and negative leads? This is how it was originally wired by the way....

Any suggestions/help welcome,

The circuit breaker's function is to protect the wire from overloading and possibly causing a fire... Personally, I'd copy the original wiring...

The relays reverse the polarity that changes direction of the windlass.
You don't need any more than one breaker on the positive feed if you want to simplify things.

The important thing is the breaker being rated to protect the wire size.
