No affiliation with the boat, found while searching craigslist and I saw previous thread about these boats and the smaller O'Day boats designed by Hunt. Looks rough, but the lines are still there. Research shows this is the same hull that finished second behind the 31 Moppie in the Miami to Nassau race.

This is a review by Jim Wynne talking about the 23 Aqua Hunter and the smaller O'Day 19 with some good pictures of both boats https://books.google.com/books?id=MdlLv ... ry&f=false

I would be all over it except I have my 20.

If anyone is interested in purchasing a very fine Bertram 20 Bahia Mar that is truly in "Bristol" condition, please let me know. I would jump at opportunity to restore this piece of history.

Charlie -

What are your thoughts? I have been talking with Rob as well.

Very interesting piece of history.

Where are you in Ohio.

Shoot me a note if you want to discuss.

Ian.

Ian, all I can say is that I once almost bought a formula junior in Tahoe and in retrospect, I really wish that I had. the unusual boats stick in your mind. It seems that you may have another shot at something, but in my experience, you don't. Things come up, there is an opportunity, then it disappears. To buy the Hunt I had to agree to sell two Bertrams. If I had not painted myself into that corner, the 23' would be spectacular.
