My son is about to replace the window that stays in place. Both starboard & port have cracked, what is best solution for fixing this problem. We have not had a problem with either of the sliding windows. Thanks

Ed,
Do you have tint film on the windows? That's a common cause of cracked safety glass. Safety glass has a plastic layer between two thin layers of un-tempered mineral glass and when film, (safety or tenting), is added one layer of glass is insulated and now has a different expansion/contraction rate than the other piece, possibly resulting in a crack...

Yes they are tinted. The crack we get is on the inside ,it goes from the stern to the bow for the entire length of window. I' ll tell my son what you said and go from there. Thanks a lot for the info.

Ed,
Thought that might be the case... Order your replacements in tinted glass so that you don't have to add film.
