Hi Guys...Does anyone have the dimensions of a standard Bimini Top for a 31 FBC including the height?...I am going to strictly use a Bimini over the next year as I continue my rebuild...Ultimately I am going to have a Half Tower built...Please let me know if anyone has an old one for sale also...Thanks, John

John-

I had a bimini made for Crows Nest last summer. It measures 71" wide by 78" long with 6' of headroom.

If you have any questions, let me know. If you want a cheap 1/2 tower solution, I have the old 1/2 tower from Crows Nest. It needs to be welded--I got a price of $150 to do the welding--and the f'glass hardtop needs to be recored. Doug got most of the core out before he decided to sell the boat. If you're interested, let me know.

John

Since you are having the Bimini made, and if you are taller than 6 ft I would make sure it is high enough to stand up under without hitting your head.

Is this a river with sweet water or is it an intrusion of sea in the land? Sorry but I've never seen that ! I mean I've seen only in pictures, but I can't ask someone.

Thanks Scot. Its nice.

Yannis- Its a small dredged creek off the Chesapeake Bay leads to the Atlantic. The creek is brackish to fresh water, and the Bay by me is Brackish. Nice place, but its fished pretty hard.

John- Tony is right. Make sure the bimini has enough headroom. I'm pretty short, so 6' is plenty for me.
