Transmon blending and Cent tubes

We glassed the back exhausts and prettied up the scuppers, they'll still be as wet as the flaps just without the buffing polishing and rubber replacement. Got some shots Doing the final hull color shoot before the boot stripe and clear coat went on. Found the trick to blending awl grip on the transom . Just patch the colors paint the boot wet sand the whole thing and shoot it with clear. I'll get some pics when she's uncovered, we went outside just before the last snow and had to re-shrinkwrap the boat to protect her. Enjoy

This is the Centubular 6" muffler, yeah its a muffler. Its sound quality is rated as fair, but the giant Vernatone is only rated as good. This muffler gave us a wire chase outboard of the stringer and room for fish boxes, no deck height issues just nice and easy.

Beautiful work. I especially like the scuppers. Pretty slick.

Very nice JP, Beatiful work. Send me a PM if you get a chance about the details of those mufflers. I need a set of 6" just like that with no increase in diameter. I'm also curious about there effect once you hit the water.

How long are they? what did the run you? etc, etc.

Looks mint JP, never knew they made mufflers that small... Excellent glasswork, I would also like your opinion on them once you splash..

Brewster,
Its just fiberglass and paint. I love fiberglass. If you don't like it grind it off and start over. I did all the glassing and fairing on the generator exhaust and the fiberglass exhaust tubes out the back and my partner comes in with the hvlp and shoots it, then I sand and he shoots again. Once all the high build and 545 primer coats are done its a final sand and 3 coats of color. Then the boot stripe a sand of the whole transom including blending (sanding with 1200) the new tubes and 4 coats of clear. The clear is awesome, no more diesel soot staining the name.

That takes about thirty different skill sets to get it like that. Great stuff!
