anyone local have a gantry crane they don't use

Tom, My welding buddy made a gantry for me it's the one piece of equipment that I couldn't do without. Only way I could build Resolute singlehanded. Good luck with the repower..lots of pics..Three amigos..BH

When they put my engines in, they used a forklift with really long like 12ft. arms. If you know anyone that can loan you a fork lift, or maybe you could rent one, then you need to figure out how to make temporary arm extensions.
I have watched Forked River Diesel pull and put in more than one engine with them. Quite the balancing act but it works well for them. All engines go in and out over the stern.

I did mine with a rented mini excavator. Worked great, lots of control over position and I did mine outside, so the fork lift would no have worked well in the dirt.
