At the very beginning of the summer a wind gust threw my cell phone and smashed it, so I took very few photos since, using my ipad. Here are a few of them.

Syros island: In the morning calm a friend is leaving port.

Image

Seriphos island: In a remote bay; iron ore mines of the early 1900's in the background.

Image

Seriphos: Monument of the first strike in 1916 for the adoption of the 8 hour workday at the mines.

Image

Seriphos: The remains of the headquarters of the french mining company.

Image

Seriphos: Same bay; Preparations for a wedding dinner party.

Image

Siphnos island: The Italian gang we met this summer.

Image

Siphnos: Octopus legs drying in the sun; the ultimate "meze" with ouzo. Under the old boat, a rusted fishing pot.

Removing a sea urchin needle from an Italian foot !

Daytrip to Polyaigos island.

Polyaigos: The floating flamingo holding the ouzo glass...

Kea island: Rafting up with friends; in the background (top right) the temples of Apollo and Athena in the rebuilding phase.

Thank you Steve, John and Rawleigh !

The sooner we all realize how short life is, the faster we'll all jump into trying to make the most out of it.
I only wish we all be healthy until the moment the cypress trees invite us over !
Cheers.

Photo 10.......And so the truth comes out as to what height for the bow rail!

Ahahaha, indeed Preston!
For aesthetic purposes only, I think I should reduce the height of the stanchions by, say, 5 cm.
Now, for practical reasons, I might as well leave it as it is ! Or even add a few centimeters, if you know what I mean....
