Hey guys-I'm still alive. Stitched up, sore, but back at home. If the recovery follows the last one, I'll feel a little better every day and will move around easier in similar fashion. Somehow, psychologically, I expected to come out of this one standing up and walking. Unfortunately I left out the part about the hurting, healing, and doing things slowly for a while. God, am I looking foward to walking up to my boat, cutting off the shrink wrap, climbing aboard and starting on that to-do list! I don't know if I would have put myself through all this if it wasn't for my wanting to be back on the boat like a normal person again. Ought to change the name from Bluebeard to Motivation. That's what she certainly has been to me! Walter

Amazing what you'll tolerate with the proper motivation. Yea, like the new name.

Walter, glad you are home, just mend and keep at it. I tried to call you a few times while you were in the hosp. but no one answered in yhour room, figured you were out walking the halls.

See ya, the new improved Walter, in Panama.

Welcome back Walter, went through some surgery myself 14 or so days ago, gotta admit that feeling better every day thing works great till you pop you sutures running fuel lines and get shut down for 2 weeks. Take it easy, let her heal then give em hell.
Welcome back.

Very glad to hear you're doing well. And yes, these Bertram can make your heart pound a little faster. But take it easy - don't over do.

Hope to see you at Montauk.
