I have used it and could not remember if it strips wax like dish soap does. I looked it up and this is the first thing I found.
We use it to clean the decks and get scuff marks out on work boats. Some are gel coat and some are paint. I did not have the yellowing issue.

my boat has never been waxed in 15 years i should add.normally i use spray -9 on scuff marks or grease,blood,bait,and then wash with soap and water.

Thanks guys I was afraid it was to abrasive and I would wind up with thinned out paint where the streaks always are after some rain.By the way I have used it on gelcoat and the deck and if it sits to long it will yellow and I found by using Spray Nine on them it would get rid of them.BR Bill G
