Oil cooler fitting part identification with photos

Post by Kevin »

Does anyone know what these fittings are called? NAPA does not have them and dealer does not either. If I knew what they were called I could order them online and build my own oil cooler hoses. These are crimped on both ends and the lines go from the oil cooler in the photo to the transmissions. The other fitting that mates to transmission is identical to the fitting in the photo.

It is a compression fitting of some sort, looks almost like JIC. What is the female threaded in with, looks like it could be npt?. You could remove the whole assembly and replace it with something that is known.

A better option might be to take the fitting and hose to a hydraulic shop that sells Parker and makes their own hoses on site. They will have a very wide selection of fittings, on of which is bound to be compatible with yours.

Thanks guys. I did find the Parker site and some fittings that looked similar. I bit the bullet and ordered them direct from dealer since they were able to locate some. About 240 total for 4 lines with fittings. I still would like to know the technical name of the part. I would still like to make a spare one with weather connections. Sometimes the simple things get me.

I was thinking JIC too based on some photos I found. None of them showed the fitting inside of the female nut though.
