Coming out of Port Isabel on Hwy 100 yesterday, saw a 31 in questionable shape on a trailer in somebody's yard. Flybridge cruiser, I think. Looked like a project boat looking for a place to happen.

Capt. Randle, you were right about the critters in Port Mansfield. We drove by the feeders, saw 4 deer (3 does and about a 6 point buck) grazing in somebody's front yard, next to an 18 wheeler, then saw about a dozen wild turkey's across the street. What an amazing place! Can't wait to go back down.

Like I said, on 100, heading into Port Isabel, would be on the right. Can't be of much more help, was tired and driving fast at the time. Spent most of the weekend in McAllen at a Texas Outdoor Writer's Association conference, Sunday morning drove to Boca Chica, went to the mouth of the rio grande, watched the Mexican fishermen on the other side, then to the Brownsville jetty, then Port Isabel, then on to Port Mansfield.

Mike, there is also a FBC on blocks at South Point Marina, Port Isabel. I was told it belongs to a local doctor. -RH

Randle. i went by there, even took some pictures, but I didn't see it. Might have been behind some other boats.
