Clear bottom paint
Is there such a thing? I sit about a inch or 2 low at the transom but don't want to paint over my boot stripe it would be great to put a clear anti-foul paint over it....any suggestions?
Re: Clear bottom paint
Several Clear anti-fouls on the market.
Interlux Trilux and Aqua-guard are the ones I am familiar with, the last may be only for alum drives. Not sure if either can be used over or next to copper based antifoul.
Can't speak as to their effectiveness.

Jimmy-
This is not a season long solution but if you could get that part of the boat out of the water once a month or so (Empty tanks raise the transom enough for this?) you might try McLube anti fouling polish http://www.mclubemarine.com/antifoulpolish/
I remember watching the videos of the work you did finishing your hull and this is the only thing I can think of that is worthy of that finish.
Best,
S

I put liquid glass on my water line. As long as you use the boat a lot, you just take a soft brush and give it a rub. Still get the brown marks, and if a barnacle grows it seems to come right off when you brush it. http://www.liquidglasspolish.com/
The Mclube looks interesting might try it to see if works better than Liquid glass.
