Morse Controls Question

Currently I have the Shift Controls on the port side of the bridge on the B25 and the throttles on the starboard side of the bridge. Same setup in the cabin. Do I need to run new cables to change to single lever controls on the bridge? This would free up valuable space on the bridge dash.

Joseph,
You might be able to use your existing cables, depends on how much slack you have. You may have to replace only one set...

I was told / possibly wrong that u could not have two stations
With one control per station
I'm dealing with this now on my 25 outboard repower with mechanical
Morse controls

For me, it's ok to have the dual levers for the lower station, but on the bridge I need the real estate for a chartplotter etc.The single lever controls would open up the port side of the bridge from the wheel over.

If using the Morse single lever dual action and plan on using two stations I believe you need the Two Station Unit. a little slide unit converter thingy. So for overly specific explanation.
-with duel stations on single lever, single action...the linkage moves the lever at the other station. Dual purpose levers will not move. The unit moves the second cable along for the ride at the tranny or throttle arm.

Not sure if still made, I had a hard time getting them and made two after waiting and waiting for them to come in. I have manual at shop with nice picture. I'll post Monday unless someone beats me to it.

I think there is also a pull/push cable mounted near the helm to switch between the two controls. I guess I'll have to buy more stuff to make this work for me.
