Hey whats going on with Neils get together?? Looked at the signup sheet and no one has done anything for months. It' gonna be real easy for Hatteras to kick Bertram butt , if you guys don't get off your butt's and sign up. I can see it now, Me and Capt Jr drinking all the rum since we won the 41express shitbox class, as well as all the other classes I'm goning to be making up(I learned that from the guy that started the UVI, make up all the rules, so you can see who's going to come in second)
BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTT, if UV makes it up , you know he's going to win at least the Blue Marlin class

TIM,
Not to be a pessimist but:
Your boat has no engines, controls, wiring, electronics etc...
It's a bare hull- how in gods name is it going to Montauk under its own power ?
Did you have to shovel much snow out after the shrinkwrap let go ?

Doug, for someone who has no windows in his boat, no delivery date on getting them back and doesn't seem to have a back up plan for filling in the openings, you've got alot to say.

Charlie, you know anyone besides CMP that has one that runs?

Timmy,
Don't even think of holding those windows hostage. Boat is scheduled to splash week of April 15th. Make the patterns and get them to CMP. Call me about that other thing-I got information not sure how usefull it is.

The deposit that I sent the yacht club was for twenty slips.

In the event that we need more it is not a problem, but if you guys don't start signing up soon I can't promise anything, so get going!

Timmy,

To be fair, the hatt's success rate at making these gatherings is something like 20%....................even when it was running.

Montauk is a long way for a 44 year old boat that as been rebuilt, for it's first season.............my experience with boats has been the first season is when you find out about all the stuff you didn't do right.

Might want to plan on next year instead, just to be safe.

regards,

Paul

I bet the Hatt is gonna fly with them new motors, you upgrading the shafts as well as the wheels???

I got my old slip back a NYC. I might try to make this montauk deal, but it will rely heavily on my family being game for it or not.

Pete has been talking about sleeping on the boat this year and wants to go camping as well so maybe we can make it.....
