Rigged the first 2 in the Northeast in the early 80's. Timmy is right, ride like bad and as I remember if you are at high cruise and try to turn they won't.
We rigged a black hull boat and and white hulled boat.

Awesome low speed manueverablitly with the low horsepower Cummins. They used Kobelt controls which were very positive in feel but the hull was meant for a more low speed mother ship type deployment then the 100 mile Canyon runs expected of Northeast sport boats.

Originally these were designed for mother ship deployment by the OP (Ocean Pacific) project that was popular at the time.

Run Away......

Get a blackfin 32 if you like the 1988 time frame. Better bridge then the 31 Bertram with a better interior.

Hey I like the B31 but know when to call a spade and spade regarding (things to do other then fish)

A friend of mine was the Capn' on the "OP" at that time. I'll see if I can get some of his thoughts.

Post title says enough for me.

UV says, "boats shouldn't be made of plastic!"
